Aquarelle Architecture

During my architectural studies, I dis-covered my passion for drawing, particularly through working with a variety of materials. Watercolor, in particular, became one of my preferred mediums.

When traveling, I always carry a sketch-book to capture places that inspire me. Over time, this has resulted in a growing collection of travel sketches. Right here a small selection is presented.

I was able to further refine my skills during my Master's studies at the University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe, where I led sketching excursions for three semesters as part of the course "Space - Light - Sound." The focus lay on spatial proportions, the interplay of light and shadow, and the atmosphere of a place better known as its sense of character or "genius loci."

These excursions were not only about teaching, but about shared learning, developing skills together and growing through mutual exchange.
